It seems the curse of the first season, staple for most comedies, has been lifted from Never Have I Ever. Season 2, of the Netflix original series is bigger, wittier, more intelligent, and has the laughs cued up like clockwork. In the first season of Never Have I Ever, we met Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) an Indian-American teenager, growing up in California.....
As I was scrolling through my album, I came across a short video of me and one of my friend Kikathoshi Jamir trying out a new Korean restaurant. It brought back so many memories of our time together, and made me think about how lucky I am to have such a great friend. Kikathoshi and I met during our second year of engineering, and we've been close ever since. We've shared countless experiences and have supported each other through thick and thin of life. Speaking of being there for each other, it's worth mentioning that Kikathoshi is currently back in his native to celebrate Christmas with his family. I miss him a lot, but I'm happy that he's able to spend the holidays with loved ones. I know he's having a great time, and I wish him all the best. I hope that everyone reading this has a friend like Kikathoshi in their life. It makes all the difference to have someone you can trust and rely on. Here's to many more years of friendship and adventures!
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in a hackathon at Jothy Institute of Technology with my teammates Akshay, Vishnupriya, and Akshatha. Our team was called 403 found , and we decided to tackle the problem of urban flooding. Using Flask and the geolocation API, we developed a web application that allows users to input their location and receive information about the likelihood of a flood occurring in their area. We also utilized a machine learning model to provide more accurate predictions. The hackathon was an intense and rewarding experience. We had to work quickly to come up with a solution and then implement it within the short time frame. It was also a great opportunity to collaborate with my teammates and learn from each other. In the end, our team was able to successfully present our project to the judges and receive positive feedback. It was a great feeling to have completed a project that we were all proud of and that had the potential to make a difference. Overall, participating in the hackathon at Jothy Institute of Technology was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to any aspiring developer. It was an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, work with a team, and make a positive impact.
